Siddhartha Khemka, Head of Research (Wealth Management), Motilal Oswal, said, “We expect Nifty to consolidate at higher levels with intermittent volatility as key US economic data is due this week. Defensive sectors like FMCG and pharma are likely to remain in focus.”
ET quoted market experts as saying that the near term bullish trend for Nifty remains intact and any consolidation or slight dip towards 25 thousand level will be a buying opportunity. Nifty is likely to reach new all-time highs around 25350-25400.
